The welcome party will be hosted at Peter’s family lake house. Come for a snack, a drink, and to say hello! Light food will be provided. Attire is lake casual.
The ceremony will be held on a small island on Squam lake. Shuttle boats will provide transportation to and from. We will share the exact pick up time and location in the near future. Attire is cocktail.
The reception will take place at The Corner House in Center Sandwich just a short drive from the lake. Shuttles will be available to transport guests from the boat drop off to the reception if you’d prefer not to drive. Snacks and drinks will be provided upon arrival prior to dinner. Following dinner, we will migrate upstairs for the after party.
There will be a casual brunch on Sunday from 11:00am - 2:00pm at Peter’s family lake house. If inclined, come at any time, stay as long as you’d like, and say goodbye. Sandwiches and other food will be provided.
Early August is peak season at the lake, so we recommend booking your lodging ASAP. More details in Travel & Stay.
The lake is large. You may have to drive up to 15 or 20 minutes to and from the weekend’s activities. We recommend driving or renting a car.
Ubers exist, but are scarce. There will be a local car service providing rides home from the reception Saturday night, however given the scattered lodging around the lake, there may be short wait times until cars return from dropping off other passengers.
Cell service is limited and spotty around the lake. To be safe, we recommend saving all addresses and travel directions. Verizon does tend to work best, however there are still dead spots.
